OneLine ("we", "our", or "the app") is a note-taking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

Data Collection

OneLine does not collect any personal data.

All notes and content you create in the app are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. Your data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external servers.

Data Storage

Your notes are stored locally on your device using iOS App Groups, which allows the main app and widgets to access your content. This data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption when you have a passcode enabled.

Location

OneLine includes an optional location-aware feature: when you tap a widget, the app can check your current location to open the note you've associated with that place. This is entirely optional and only works if you choose to grant location access.

Your location is used only at the moment you tap a widget, is processed entirely on your device, and is never stored, logged, collected, or transmitted to us or to any third party. You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings, and the app will simply open your default note instead.

Photos & Images

You can optionally attach images to your notes, either from your photo library or pasted from the clipboard. Any images you add are stored locally on your device in the same secure, app-private storage as your notes.

When you add an image, OneLine checks on your device whether it contains a QR code so it can be preserved at full quality. This detection happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, collected, or shared.

Third-Party Services

OneLine does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. We do not share your data with any third parties because we do not have access to your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual notes at any time within the app
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app from your device
• Your data is automatically removed when you delete the app

Children's Privacy

OneLine does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
